Ahh, my long-awaited PhD—finally done! 🎓
My mother, my wife, and my daughter, three generations who shaped my life, were there to witness this moment. Without them, I am nobody.
Four years ago, I was on the verge of quitting graduate school. I was fortunate to have an opportunity for a fresh start. New advisor, new department, and a completely new project, and somehow it was the perfect fit. Friday was my graduation ceremony, feels unreal thinking how far I’ve come.
I am deeply grateful to my advisor, Baskar Ganapathysubramanian, the sharpest mind I’ve ever had the opportunity to work with, a great mentor, and a phenomenal teacher. Never had to look back once I joined the BG lab. I am also sincerely thankful to my wonderful collaborators and colleagues, Olga Wodo, Balaji S Sarath P., Adarsh Krishnamurthy, Soumik Sarkar, and the members of the BG lab for their support, collaboration, and constant inspiration throughout this journey.
